Montreal #1 Setlist Party

The friendliest place on the web for anyone that follows U2.
If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
Are you thinking of the 360 gifs? If so...pleasenounbearable. Ugh I'm only dipping my toe into these ones...please let's not bring back the 360 crap into these threads.

Is it better than burrito "jokes", American blow jobs talk and everyone getting snarky over any setlist that doesn't include any debuts?

a) Uh, excuse you. Nothing is better than burrito jokes.

b) There would be setlist bitching no matter what the gifs/jokes were in the threads.

c) We had a whole tour of the rotating song gifs. Some people hated them. Some others didn't. But now we're going to have a tour of not having those.

Those were the fucking worst. I came to completely avoid the 360 setlist parties. The same lame gifs every. bloody. show.

This tour we had Bong For Someone for a time, now American Blow Job and burritos are enjoying their time in the sun, and depending what cori has for dinner next who knows what will happen. We've got more rotation than the average U2 setlist.

And setlist bitching is eternal.

I didn't know if that was a consensus decision or not.

Like we're ever going to get a consensus in this place on anything!

Post whatever you want, make whatever jokes you want. There's no rules, but people will be vocal about what they like and don't like, whether it's someone's comments or the setlist.

No comment on what's in bold.

@U2 maybe replace Invisible with...Walk on (puhhhhlease)/Electrical Storm/Stories for Boys/Gloria/Ultraviolet/Hold Me Thrill Me?!#U2ieTour
I love Invisible and hope it stays in that awkward post-intermission spot.

I do fear a little bit that Ordinary Love could have a permanent spot. Leaving us with slot #2, slot #14, an extra song after Beautiful Day if they can be fucked, and the closer as the only possible chances for change.

Which is super lame because I demand the setlists be more interesting to cater for my mild interest every second day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't we all?

How many songs are the same every show?

N-n-n-n-n-n-n-n-nineteen

With COBL sticking around now it's really 19.

I'll still watch every show on periscope from start to finish when I can though

Can we just take this in, after 14 shows:

The Electric Co. (7 times)
[...]
One (6 times)

Awww yeah. Did you ever think you'd see the day that, at any point on a post-Achtung tour, The Electric Co. had been played more than One?

After seeing them in Vancouver and now in Montreal I think the combo of Baby I Love You/ Beat on the Brat is WAY better entrance music than People Have the Power.

I can also safely say that the Montreal crowd fucking destroyed the Vancouver crowd. That crowd was unreal tonight.

The show was increcible. Whatever we might think about the predictable setlists the shows themselves when in person are incredible.

Ordinary Love sounded really great and Bono taking the stage from the e stage rather than the main stage is much cooler. The Miracle totally works as an opener. The crowd in Montreal was totally into it.

This set was exactly the same as LA3, but with a really cool arrangement of Stuck swapped out for acoustic Ordinary Love.

Yeeeahhhh I'll take Stuck.
