The National are a great band we should keep discussing.

The friendliest place on the web for anyone that follows U2.

On Letterman tonight and they are playing the following song which I am putting in a spoiler and also writing an overly long introduction for so iPhone users are all good:

Don't Swallow the Cap

Want now. Do not want to listen to it through the crappy truck radio/fm transmitter over a diesel engine idling, though. Seems like that would be slightly detrimental.

Graceless sure is good.

As is everything else up until that song, and likely everything to come after. EDIT: Confirmed, everything to come after was good.

I really liked it on first listen. Really liked it.

Have Letterman on now. Will Smith is being annoying (no surprise).

I'm guessing #1, unless U2's album comes out. If U2's album comes out, it depends.

I would guess #1 as well. Have Letterman on now. Surprised they didn't play Sea of Love.

I'm not guessing Kanye because even MBDTF couldn't win that year, but the new songs are great.

Seriously though, I do think The National have a great shot.

My best guess:

1. The National
2. Arcade Fire
3. Kanye
4. U2
5. Kurt Vile
6. Vampire Weekend
77. The Knife

Well that was very nice indeed. Bespectacled Matt is interesting, he's looking a bit like season 1 Walter White.

They say a glass of wine a night does a body good, but I'm not sure about a whole bottle.

For anyone who has a physical copy of the album with lyrics, what's the verdict on "everything I love is out to sea/see" and "Hey Jo/Joe, sorry I hurt you?"
