Thanks! :)

I tried it with a sprinkling of nutritional yeast. Every time I read about different popcorn toppings, that always comes up, and everyone's all "Oh, yum!" my boss swears by it, too. It's a little cheesy, a little nutty.

So I found some at a local place known for natural, organic foods and the like, picked some up for cheap.

Eh. It's okay. I'm glad I only spent about $1 on the stuff, because I'm not going to use it again. Will stick with butter (or olive oil) and sea salt for my topping. With some white chocolate chips on the side for a little sweetness.

Now off for my birthday massage!

True comet, different decade. But still.

It's healthy somewhat, due to the antioxidants the cornshells have. With produced corn, it's much less. :D And I've low blood pressure, so salted popcorn is very healthy for me.

Just saw the vid of you singing, Cori. NICE! And happiest of happy birthdays to you my dear! So glad I got to meet you face to face in Anaheim and hope to spend more time with you next tour!

Popcorn

Daz, sorry I've been missing you when you've been here. I'm not in here nearly as much as I'd like to be. busy busy busy - no rest for the wicked.

I'm just NOT feeling today. I don't want to talk to anyone, the students are annoying me (even my seniors), I don't want to finish grading and I sure as hell don't want to go to my department chair meeting this afternoon instead of working out.

Someone please remind me again why we can't drink at work?

wait....your school starts -as students being there vs staff getting things ready in ? earlyt august- inlate August??!!?!!

awww  sorry you're feeling blah......

pitfalls of drinking at work..... falling down drunk in front of your class???
:giggle: i know you wouldn't get that drunk!!

miss ya, but certainly unsterstand being extra, extra busy

Extra :hug:sss for you & family Z!

70's = meh.

But that was my teens so not much impressed me I guess.

70's I was 17-27> there were some really bad groups of months emotionaly scattered particularly through 70 - 75

BUT much of it was good to great with some pretty good .
Two of my favorite things in addition to  meeting some great poeple were being involved pretty early on with
Punk/New Wave music and shows!

I was too young to go to see in NYC without a parent nor travel around for early-through Tommy Who but wow, started taking off while seeing them Who's Next Tour,
Quadrophrenia onwards.....
.....
So when i found out liked liked/loved P/NW
through the still some free-formish Radio DJ's after partly being alerted tthrough the Village Voice Weekly Newspaper ...... at 22 onwards i & friends, sis & her friends started going to all these clubs, outdoor shows (about large theater-size) and theaters as some of the bands became more popular.

...often hard job, butreally:happy: nice, fun people working at semi-regular magazines freelancer for deadline weeks.

....And going on my first Cross-Country USA Trip!

Thanks, zu! :)

Dazz, nice to see you around again! Glad you're doing so well.

Back from my massage. Ahhhhhhh, yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

 thanks, cori!

Still at home most of the time but that will begin changing as i use the Acess-a-Ride more. take a while longer to get to get my ankle up to full strength/endurance to switch to a regular cane for a while to get me to feel safe enough at some npoint to cross the big lanes uphill roadway to catch 2 buses (2 short rides) for the way longer rideess into
upper west side, mid-town & lower manhattan, maybe even Brooklyn

when i've had some time then i'll try the regular cane in the subways. Too scary 4 me to take the quad cane -people tripping over it or me tripping over it while trying to keep it closer to me (which has happened to me on a moderaterately peopled street but since walking at slow to moderate pace I didn't start to fall- thank the powers and my good balance).

So by some time in Oct i'll be cane free completely... now i'm cane free

in my apt, and using sneakers only in apt start to use sneakers with cane outside. The hills make my recovery slower. I have to get my whole body endurance up to do the longer walking i've done ball my life. And 3-4 flights of stairs to start with.

Saying it again, Cori, happy birthday! Sounds like you're having a nice one, so hooray (a massage sounds lovely ).

I clicked on the link of you singing, but it said something about needing a Flash Player to view the content. I'll try it again, though, 'cause I want to hear it!

oh ML ... i passed through FYM and left 2 cut & pasted news item

not fun stuff at all, but needed pointing out

Yeah, I noticed and skimmed them! I'll try and reply properly to them later on.

As for all the Muse talk, hey, if the new stuff isn't your thing, or if the band isn't to your liking, it's cool :). No firing squads here. We'll just agree to disagree.

 So now EDUN is selling Bono's leather pants.

Edun - Perforated Leather Ruched Skinny Pant

Holy SHIT those are expensive!

Today was rough. I'm super stressed out about something work-related, but there's nothing I can do about the situation. I'm trying really hard to let it go because it's completely out of my control, but it's not so easy. :sigh: I hate being such a worry-wart/control freak sometimes.

What? You don't have a spare $800 lying around to blow on a pair of Bono pants?

I hope your work thing works out alright. :zen: Have a drink maybe?

i have go and see what/if people have commented another veddy interesting trhing i just saw...
...i'm trying to find out which early 1980's NationalLabor Jobs support marc in DC i went to was....

Looking at Wiki's list of To DC Marches i saw this...

1913 - March 3, Woman Suffrage March. 5,000 march to support women's voting rights the day President-elect Woodrow Wilson arrived for his swearing in the next day.

ha! 100th Anniversery Next Year 2013 and considering there are real peple (not too many, ladies but they're herrrre ) mostly men maybe a relatively few IMHO who STILL want to take the vote away from us (USA Women)!

:mad::yikes::mad::yikes::mad:

Sadly, no. I mean, I technically DO have money "laying around" as it were, but it's in various savings accounts. My house fund and my travel savings fund come first. :D

Thanks. Yes, I'm drinking right now. :)
