Also this made me laugh during game 1.

Apparently Kassian is Cody!

Yeah and when oh... Ottawa wins the cup (lol).... and those fans are rubbing the last place Canadiens fans in it... you'll regret it!

Nope.

Plus, we all know Ottawa doesn't have a chance. We were not in last place, and a #3 draft pick is a nice consolation prize for a shitty season.

I'd never root for any team because they're 'American' or 'Southern' or 'from Florida'.

I don't know why Canada would back another Canadian team. There should be more animosity among Canadians towards other Canadian teams. Especially during the playoffs!

Because Canadians see hockey as "our" game, and the fact that no Canadian-based team has won the Cup since 1993 has irked many. It would be something akin to a Canadian-based team winning the World Series every year (back when there were two teams *sniff *)

Anyway, trust me, there is tons of animosity towards Canadian-based teams here. If the Maple Leafs would be in the final *haha*, I would root for the other team. Same for the Canucks (except for last year, when I hoped the series would end in a tie), and the Senators, who have some of the most insufferable fans (knowing full well Habs fans can be just as bad).

And you would NEVER find an Oilers fan rooting for the Flames or vice-versa, simply because it's a Canadian-based team.

Yeah, you're explaining exactly what I'm explaining.

I'm saying anyone that does otherwise is silly though. I did that (when I was 11). I rooted on the Lightning big time back when they won the cup. I wanted a cup to come south, and to Florida. Big mistake, because it just fills their fans' heads with air. Now for the past decade we've had to hear about their cup.

I bemoan my last-minute decision to put Pittsburgh in my pool instead of Philly. And I had such a gut feeling too. Awesome game though.

Feeling pretty good about the Devils too.

I'm lovin them Flyers... big pool money on em. Lots of my opponents have Pittsburgh winning it all too so if the Flyers make it out I'll be really comfortable. Nucks and helping right now from the West though.

Panthers though... man... that was such an ugly start to the game. Almost had the comeback, but they can't do that again.

Who's got a better chance of getting out of theire respective 0-2 hole, the Pens or the canucks?

I'll go with Vancouver.But Daniel Sedin has to comeback.As for Pittsburgh,loosing 2 games with 3-0 and 2-0 leads,they ain't overcoming that.

So I'm watching Ottawa vs New York, now having pay tv, and one bloke just belted another player, punched him like seven times in a row, and I'm pretty sure the commentator just said he only got five minutes in the sin bin? You'd get like 15 weeks for that in the AFL.

I'm in love.

I'd think that Quick makes it more difficult for the Canucks to come back. So I'll say Pittsboig, but I think they're both toast.
