make it too Philly by about 11AM ish. I had
printed out the general subway lines and stadiums area
layout. Not too bad heading down there.
and then............... SInce I'm not quite sure which stadium
at first esp & there's mess 'o construction right near by....
and
: a whole mess in 3 stretches of blocks of
half-dying trees!!!! All dying back from there tops. I had to
take a photo - at twilight/night it could of been the
starting point for "Blair Witch #3: the Urban tales!!!
I FINALLY GET to the Linc and realize that I have WASTED
precious time because i walked the "reverse" way--
like the 2/3rds , 3/4's round about way vs the 1/3, 1/4 wayyy??? aaaaa!
I get on line find out in a while that The people around me are above #500.
They had closed off at 500 - JUST in the physical set up vs the next part beyond
500 people. I can't sit comfortably : ( I really have to
do some exercises for getting down/ up and sitting on "the floor" so to speak - I'm mostly quite flexible other-wise. It started to be a problem when I LOST my left
arm's EXTRA POWER from BEING A "lefty" because of how my bone scar healed healed from the ripped rotator-cuff muscles) finally go back to standing!
Pretty people around so talk a bit with a few. I have brought
enough water - the weather being almost the same as GA NJ/09
low 80's NO humidity but thank goodness for the breeze! AND
knew I'd probably need 2 more inside the stadium which THIS
time i had the extra #$ for instead of being SHOCKED at how
much it would be.
I ask at one point because one part of one foot is hurting
(VS By the time it's 5PM in 09 BOTH of most each foot WAS hurting! \to sit in someone's camper chair.
Oh......the glory of 20 mins of thaT!
I'm half giddy and making jokes and stuff.

i thot it was because I was wearing rare pants W/O pockets for my phone!!! Soi had been moving it around in my Living room sofa area and forgot to put it inmy purse! Finally b/c I put it in and took it out a few times to rearrange stuff.
I figure we can't go in yet when I find it's ONLY 4:30ish because B hasn't shown up to sing his rehearsal/(and forgetting they said around 5:30!
Finally Magnificant starts and woooo hooo there's Bono! I do believe it was him because he goes lower a bit for one verse or chorus.
AT 5:00 5:30 we finnaly start going IN.

While at Old Giants Stadium as we rounded the long-side
of the stadium to head towards the FEILD GAte.....there's the
Semi-steep 1 block DOWN HILL!

we round into the inside of the gate complex areas......
THERE'S LIKE ALMOST 2 - 2 1/2 FLIGHTS big concrete
FUCKING
STAIRS top go up!!!! fucking STAIRS!!!!!!!!!! Been standing
most of the day-- was building up a good fast walk, semi-run
and WHOMP......
THAT slows me down and somwhat slows me down once I get
to the inner circle corridor of the area surrounding the seating/feild.
PLus there's lines of people for food etc. And the corridor seems to
look -dampish (slippable ) in spots though it might have been lighting
issues didn't fell that way.
I FINALLY and we now have to go DOWN 2 - 2 1/2 flights of
stadium seating stairs to get back to the field floor! Why powers, why!!!
I look go for between Bono and Adam's side.
there is NO rail space along the whole outer rail :
I am in row #2 but that doesn't help so much b/c 1> my foot hurts .
2> the people in front of me are taller by 2- 4 inches and a bit broad
in the upper back/ shoulders.
It's the perfect spot by my reckoning
BECAUSE it's just at the JUNCTURE where the Outer Rail stops curving
to match the circle AND starts to stay straight as it (from other side/corner)
forms the trianglely area for each of The Claw legs ! and as I had hoped
for what they'd be coming around on either side front of the 360 catwalk.
OK I have to leave from here BUT I'll be back on line in about 30 mins
more or less as I go to the Net cafe!
