OMG, my day so far... I went to bed at like 6am and meant to get up at 11, but I must have killed the alarm because I slept till almost 3!! Got up and ran to the computer to book my last flight (YAY PAYDAY), and Delta's site kept saying that my billing address on Paypal didn't match. THAT took like an hour to get figured out.

Then I checked the mail. I've been trying to get medical insurance assistance for like 7 months, since I make pretty much no money and my body is falling apart. After ALL this time, I got a letter saying my evaluation by a doctor will be... on the 7th. And in big caps under that "THIS APPOINTMENT WILL NOT BE RESCHEDULED." :panic: Luckily, after freaking out, I called my caseworker and she said it was no problem to change it. The ONE time I've been out of town this ENTIRE YEAR, and they pick then for the doctor visit. I'm so thankful I can change it!!!

I was freaking out to a friend about it over IM, and she was like "could you just change your flights and miss the first concert?" I was like "You so are not getting the point here."

:yikes: :yikes: So glad it all worked out for you!

OK it's meant to look like this? :uhoh:

I followed the instructions to the letter, maybe nighttime isn't the best light to see hair colour

:uhoh: Did it go on too dark? Mine always goes on darker than I want it to, but then after a week it lightens up. I'm doing mine this weekend so I don't go to Toronto looking like Goth Girl.

Hi friends!

Had a mostly relaxing day so far. Slept in a little bit, went back to my house to clean up a bit and get the rest of what I'll need for Montreal, and am now vegging out on the couch. Too bad it's cloudy & cool today, otherwise I would have been outdoors somewhere. But I'm content to relax inside. :)

Oh yeah, and I went to the doctor. It pays to go on a holiday - there was NOBODY in the waiting room () so the doctor saw me right away. I have a bronchial infection. But now I'm set with antibiotics, so hopefully that will help clear things up quickly.

Glad you got something for it, Thora.

It's gorgeous here today. 25 C, low humidity. It was damned hot in the sun though, which is why we ended up coming in. It got to the point where we'd work for two minutes, then go flop in a lounge chair in the shade for 10, rinse and repeat for the last hour we were out.

Thanks girls  I feel totally fine and healthy. It's just an annoying cough, obviously brought on by the infection that I have.

Oh, VP that sounds glorious! Hopefully the rest of this weekend will be better. I want to be outside more! This place has 2 fabulous patios, and I've barely spent any time on them.

It's brighter on top then the bottom but if anyone asks it's meant to be

It's a red plum colour

Girls.

Thora. Feel better soon.

Wild. Hope your tummy and throat are feeling a bit better.

Can someone send me a hawt Irishman to massage my back. My meds aren't really helping today.:lol:

In better news. Well kinda sad really as I can't play it anymore but it is daft keeping it when it hurts to play due to my back and joints. I sold my Wii console. Bit of extra money which is really needed for Montreal/Toronto.

I imagine most home dyes would be brighter on top as I assume ( never home dyed my hair before - hey maybe we could do it in Canada :lmao: ) when you wash it in most of it naturally would be washed on the top. Think that result you have is completely normal.

No. Going to do it tommorow. If I do it today I'd just check it 2 billion times anyway between now and then. :lmao: Also borrowing some clothes from Kat tommorow ( yay for not having to buy new ones and saving money. ) so may as well wait till I have those. :hi5:

Can't believe its now nearly finally here.

I was just at the store grabbing some allergy meds, and when I saw the cough medicine, I thought "Thora needs to go to the doctor already!", so good girl.

Thanks hun

NI is awesome at back massage but he's gonna be busy as he doing me

Maybe we can find one in Canada. :shifty:

Ha forgot to tell you, was hilarious at Glasto. During one particular song ( can not remember which one  ) Brian started looking over at me and Joyce. He either thought we were trouble makers, heh plebans trouble never. :shifty::tongue: Or he thought he recognised me.

Mine is darker than usual, too. Both stores I went to were out of my normal color, so I just grabbed the next closest thing. It's still reddish brown, though, so I'll take it!

I usually put the dye on the top for a few minutes before I do the bottom. (I stick my hair in a ponytail and cover everything above where the hairband is.) Not sure if it helps much, but it seems to!

 Aww! Thanks for thinking of me. I went like a motherfucking adult, and even filled the prescription at the pharmacy next door. Hooray for AWESOME health benefits at work, because the drugs only cost $10 instead of $40. Woot woot!

I'm SO excited to meet so many of you for the first time next week! And of course see those that I've met before. It's gonna be awesome!

I want to be Canadian when I grow up! I was trying to get a doctor appointment to get my anti-anxiety stuff refilled before the trip, but just the office visit is like $100.

You should just stay up here after the concert, and marry one of us. :sexywink: That would make it super easy for you to become a citizen! :D

Too bad Edge isn't Canadian! ;) But hey, I am stopping in Niagara Falls on the way home, so if someone wants to meet me in a cheesy wedding chappel, let's go!

I was so spoiled when I worked for Disney- $15 office visits and $4 RX, and the pharmacy even did a free RX promotion sometimes. Instead I'm now trying to figure out how to carefully ration the 2 pills I have left over 7 flights and 3 shows.
