Hi! I never met anyone that still lives in Kokkola but unless I'm not entirely mistaken part of my family originated from there, whether it was my maternal grandmother or late grandfather (whom I never met, he passed away before I was born) I don't know but it's still exciting to me.

I need to practice my Finnish quite a lot though, I know very, very little and mostly basic things like greetings and the usual yes, no, thank you and good morning/good night. So don't expect me to be at all as fluent as compared to my English.

Yes 34 here today and few weeks ago it was +34- + 36 for 12 days
and few months ago it was -30 and lowest last winter was -43.7
