Remember how I was panicking because the SLC line was up to 145 the night before? Someone said the numbers only ended up going as high as 228.

That sounds a lot less scary, considering it probably stayed at 145 from 7 at night until noon the next day or something. Ha.

That makes me feel better.

That's pretty much right. The crazies ;) will be numbered the night before. There will be a lag and then normal people will show up. In Vegas I was on the rail next to a couple who showed up after the Black Eyed Peas finished. They looked so pretty and refreshed.

I have a condition with knee, that became very severe today. (Lump been growing below kneecap, and ongoing pain, which became 10x worse this morning after I felt it pop while taking morning walk) Going in to see specialist tomorrow and likely an MRI. Been on pain killers and anti-inflammatory all day.

I am still gonna make this show by hell or high water. If I have to be in brace/crutches, I am still going.

Will know more by noon tomorrow, but this is not good.

Thursday morning report:

No new activity at Qwest Field.

that I can see, anyway. :shifty:

I might only be able to see anything once the stage is mostly erected. I'm going to investigate soon to see how close I can get, but I'm not sure how close I'll be able to get to snap a few pictures. I may be only to see anything once something's poking out of the top, or once it's been raised - the one end of the stadium has that funny-shaped, "skinny" section, and you can kind of see around that from the outside.

Pdxracer, sorry about your knee! If it makes you feel any better, my brother broke his ankle slipping on the ice 2 days before our trip to Hawaii for his b-day and for the last show of the Vertigo tour. He was on cruches the whole time with a soft cast but still had the time of his life! Even with seats, we didn't sit down at all either!! :) You will gets lots of high fives and pats on the back by the fans for showing up injured! :) U2 fans are the best!!:up:

Ha ha - my friend just asked me if I'd seen the forecast on weather.com: 70 and sunny.

I said I'd report that here just to prove that you can't trust the forecasts for Seattle for that far out, as someone the other day saw a forecast that said rain on the 4th.

here's hoping the new report will come true.

Now I'm thinking I kind of want to shoot for the front row.

I think it will depend on how early I can get a number.

Could I be any more wishy-washy?

I'm under the impression that I should have my spot in mind before I hit the field, so I can just take off running.

I'm not sure if I'm as concerned about the view of the whole stage or even the screens for this show - I saw the whole shebang 4 times in 2009, and I'll see the Claw 2.0 in Minneapolis from seats.

This might be my one shot to be able to count the stitches in Bono's leather pants. :hmm:

This really is a general kind of spoiler but no actual details:
videos are completely different than 2009, fyi...

Yeah, I had heard. :) But I'll get to see them in Minneapolis, so I'm thinking I can spare having the "full view" for one show.

I'll just have to play it by ear and see where we all are in the line. I know you and a few others I'd love to hang with are gunning for the rail, and being with you guys might win out. :)

I don't know....I'm now thinking that front row could be pretty sweet....

It's probably the last time I will ever line up for GA. Why not go for the gold?
