It is the Brasilian Real or R

$350 USD is well within market value, they were priced on the shelves when they came out anywhere between $275-400. I agree it's expensive but they are a one in maybe 5-10 year - maybe even lifetime - find (if they are new).

I, personally, have never seen them on ebay the last 5 years and never onsale at any site for at least that long, if not longer -- and only have seen them up for grabs maybe once or twice through a trade here. That's how rare.

What's the deal with the Romeo Gigli 226 2M2 selling on ebay for over $350??? I remember a few months ago some peeps couldn't move them for $100.

but I love the blue lensed ones with the black frames. I believe Bono wore em in the late 90s, not sure.

Yeah blue lenses, not too dark. I think they are quite possibly my favorite sunglasses that I've seen Bono wear.

But I believe the Marcolin custom were the ones with the dragon on the side, and were much thicker

Yes....it took a while....but my D&G 2138's finally arrived.

To Honey's credit (David)....they are in perfect condition, so thank you for that!

I would just stress to anyone reading this....

If you're doing a deal with anyone else on the Forum (or eBay or whatever)...ALWAYS stay in touch with the person to let them know what is happening with the deal until the item has arrived safe n sound.

A quick 30-second email reply can alleviate a lot of anxious feelings...or even hard feelings down the line.

No no, called K-Marts because the one event Bono wore them at was the Pop Mart launch held at K-Mart. The sunglasses are allegedly Diesels and the real McCoys have never surfaced though some replicas have.
