You and I appear to have picked much of the same in the first round. I too had Utah State, Belmont, and Richmond ... and I have Oakland today. Also, Marquette (6-11, though).

Had a look at Oakland's schedule over the last few years. These guys play a murderer's row of OOC teams every year, mostly on the road. Very impressive.

21-for-32 in round one. One of my weaker brackets. But I haven't lost any Elite Eight teams and only two Sweet Sixteen teams. And I'm the only one with my champion in most of my pools.

25-7... lost unlv, louisville, texas a&m, ODU, utah st, belmont, xavier, oakland. Xavier, louisville and utah st were sweet 16 teams.

About to go to 1-0 on the weekend with kentucky, who I have in the final four

And Steve Fisher doesn't seem to realize that his favored endgame strategy of "give the ball to Jalen, drive to the bucket and get fouled" doesn't work without Jalen.

The Big East is really getting killed by how tightly reffed these games have been. No physicality is getting through.
