Yeah, they're playing at the Owl & Thistle (sadly, a tiny place) on Saturday the 23rd. I may or may not have some coworkers coming (I keep trying to convince my director to come (it's her birthday) and to bring her sister who'll be in town).

There are some other local U2 fans I'm sure will go; I met them at the last ZS gig and now "know" them on Facebook. I want someone there I can shoot in-jokes back and forth with. :wink:

UABRS (tribute band) is playing here next week and I'm drrrraaaaaaagging a non-U2fan friend along with me. My BFF is busy and Mr.Z said "I'll go if you can't find anyone else" DRay said he might go but his bedtime is like 8:30.
 
I recently learned there's a U2 tribute band (U277) in the Seattle area, but they hardly seem to have any shows. The few this summer were all in places far enough away that I didn't even consider going. Boo! I want to see if they're any good.

I have coworkers that really like U2, and they heard me rave about the ZS show in June, so I was hoping they'd come. My boss has other plans that night, another friend has a wedding to go to, and then there's the director, who has birthday plans but might come. (Which means she probably won't come. :grumpy: )

Ugh, men are so goddamn confusing.

I tell someone I have feelings for him and I know he has feelings for me but he's holding me back. I give him an ultimatum: I don't want to be friends(cue Lady Gaga ala Bad Romance :lol: ), and I want a relationship. He sends me a message back, saying I've misjudged the situation and assumed he didn't have feelings for me :crack:, deletes me, then blocks me. WAT.

I got the most amazing early Christmas prezzie from BonoMot today... she sent it early so it would arrive in plenty of time for our road trip next year :lol: ... omg i am in love. :love: I need to take a pic....

YES! I don't really get it.

Oh well, I put it out there what I wanted. He chose to go batshit crazy. Whateves. I won't lie and say it doesn't hurt, but I'd rather just have this....whatever this is be over if it isn't going to go any further, you know?

Dammit, why don't I have any wine in the house? :scream:

Ihe messaged me this morning saying I looked cute and happy in my profile picture. I hadn't heard from him in a week and this was out of the blue. I messaged him, saying I had feelings for him, and I knew he had them for me. I said I liked him, and it hurt just being friends or whatever, when. It was so obvious we wanted something more. This has been going on for like 2 months so I gave him an ultimatum. And he responded by being an immature doucher. :|

You're right about that. :hug:
