it would have been a cool 5th single for ATYCLB. they were so big in 2001 that they probably could have released "Grace" and the general public would have gone all over it.

gosh, how times have changed. now, Magnificent doesn't even do well on the radio? i blame stupid people more than U2, i'll tell you that.

It's painful to put any of them low, since they all mean a lot to me and are so very different, I still love Pop and R/H but they weren't completed ideas, ATYCLB and HTDAAB slip down because of what they could have been (October is in that same vein, different era) , but I still enjoy the earnest songwriting they contain. I kind of want to penalize NLOTH for what it could have been as well, but even still it's cohesive and a step in a new direction.

AB isn't as strong as people like to make out...I definitely think NLOTH is better than both AB and JT.

NLOTH still in the top 3 for me together with Zooropa and UF

But for me NLOTH is pretty close to Achtung Baby.
