I am glad that Bono showered and changes his clothes for this performance. He looked like a dirty homeless person the few times I saw him in person. With all the money, you think someone would tell him to change his clothes, especially when they are filty dirty and the sweat stains are stinking from your armpits.
If I saw him wearing that jean outfit or that black outfit one more time, I was going to lose it.

Not only is this tirade disrespectful but also very rude! I presume you mean by ''saw him in person'' statement that during a live concert, well yes of course he sweats during the course of a 2 hour live show!? It's his body just behaving normally, doesn't make him dirty, although some of us here actually find sweaty (and dirty ) Bono rather a turn on! Just check the latest leather day thread!!

So you can actually smell him from up on stage?! Wish I could be close enough to smell hot sweaty Bono!!

If fact, I have been very up a close and personal to Bono, see my signature, and I thought he looked and smelt absolutely devine!!

assuming that u2 stayed at the hotel they seem to usually stay at in berlin, they only had about 200 meters to walk to get to work that day. i think that's pretty funny.

And yet MORE new Bass Guitars for Adam...

Warwick bass guitars are manufactured in Germany. Looks like Adam took delivery of some new toys!

Check the bass that Adam is playing during Sunday Bloody Sunday. It is gold sparkle, like the Fender Precision and the Fender Jazz bass that he's been using (the Jazz first appearing at the We Are One show in DC before the album came out)... but I digress.

If you look closely you will see that the bass in the Brandenburg version of Sunday Bloody Sunday, while gold sparkle, is neither the Precision or Jazz. Looks to be similar to the Warwick Streamer - Adam used a dark brown Streamer for live performances of "Electrical Storm" on the Euro leg of the tour.

Possible it is a different model. Judging from the body style and headstock... that there ain't no Fender Precision or Jazz bass - and looks to be a Warwick of some model... (More information as I find it)

Also, the Stryker bass used at Brandenburg is different.
The one used most of the tour has 2 split pickups. Looks like 4 little black rectangles to the non-musician folks.

Larry got new toys! That Yamaha PHX (silver sparkle kit) is new (well, new for this tour).

And Larry got that there Roland TDS-20 electronic kit that he used for the writing of NLOTH...

And lest we forget his Djembe!



But yes, he is far behind Adam Clayton on the "who got the most new toys" list. Heck, Adam is even beating The Edge on that list, this tour.

Poor larry.......... he wants some new toys too!!

I really know what you mean, I searched for some on Ebay, they where about 5000 tot 7000 each, and one didn't have really pretty colors.
No luck for me.

NO, that 'declaration' isn't listed under the 'infamous' nude shot from Achtung Baby.

Although, a friend of mine has already made a T-shirt like this, once I mentioned it a few days back. (Certain to get Adam to laugh when he sees it at the next show that she's at)
