yeah, it's a cool city. i'm hoping the third time will be the charm and maybe our next visit i can actually see some sights. i love navy pier and all, but there's way more to chicago than that.

snap! pretty much everything i want to do in chicago revolves around the downtown area. the fact that i could be quite happily satisfied by a 20 minute walk around the river is a good sign.

Ugh, I hate it when people do that. A friend of mine kept doing that for months over Facebook and emails. I finally had to send her an email saying I didn't appreciate her hate-filled rants, and was going to block her email (I wanted to give her one last chance, because despite that she is a really cool person). Thankfully she got emails and posts on her FB page from a bunch of other people who were sick of her rants, and she's kept her thoughts about Obama to herself since then.
