Wow guys, you amaze me. This is still an unofficial date, and the upcoming dates have not been announced yet, and you guys are planning coming from all over the place! :hyper:

I am just telling you that this date isn't official yet! So CALM DOWN!

For anyone who didn't see it this was the original mistake page that was put up by TM. This came courtesy of @u2.com

Oh and MoodyJ is a sweetheart. She's going to try and snag an extra GA for me in the general sale.

:applaud: Yay!! I was going to text you I would have volunteered to get you one, but if the general sale is on Nov 9, I will not be able to do it for you because I will be traveling. I'll be traveling to my parents' house in Indonesia between Oct 28 to Nov 12. The Internet connection there is unreliable. If the presale/general sales for many of the 2010 NA dates are going to be held during that period, I may need to give my presale code to someone and ask their help to get tickets for me. :grumpy:

Hopefully it will work out, and seriously, why can't U2/LiveNation give us more than just a week after announcing the dates before starting the presale...

Just made hotel reservations. I may be jumping the gun here, but I'm pretty excited. Can always cancel I guess, but hopefully this show happens as rumored. Would love to spend a weekend in Miami.

So just to be clear, this Landshark Stadium is the same as Joe Robbie/Pro Player Stadium right? Wow, shows I haven't lived in Miami for 8 years.

Awww thanks.

I'm sure it will work out. Or you can cancel the trip.

I still call it Joe Robbie Stadium (which it hasn't been for years) and my kids are always getting on me about it...it's just how I know it...although Land Shark is much cooler....the beer's pretty good too. Did you know that Jimmy Buffet (Wastin' Away in Margaritaville) owns Land Shark Beer? Just a tidbit of info for you all.

That's awesome but I can't believe they chose Miami in July after Tampa unless Bono is going through some Bikram crisis. Seriously, Tampa until November is always hot - always!!! Miami in July is suicide!!! In any case, if it's true, good to see they are back in the states but I'll travel elsewhere to see the show again.

Could they be building-up the hype for this Miami show, to film it, maybe a DVD??

It is not by accident that TicketMaster released "only" this shows date, that, you and I know for sure!

BTW, they are starting Europe in August so I find this date highly unlikely. But I'd be happy to be wrong!!!

All the information that I've heard is starting in Mexico end of May, USA June - July, Europe August - September. This date actually fits in with that perfectly.

If any of you guys are locals, UV will be performing at Finnegans On The River in MIAMI, on Friday, October 30, 2009!!

Supposedly, they have a happening happy hour, and I've heard this cover band play before, they're the real deal, hope some of you guys and gals, can make it out!

Miami in July is nowhere near as bad as Miami in September. I am pleasantly surprised.

Tampa was worse than anything I've ever been in while in Miami, however. It didn't help that they put us right in the sun. Luckily Miami is more... um, cloudy, in July. Bring your ponchos. You will get wet. It rains like clockwork from 2 pm to 4 pm.

I doubt they will do this for the U2 concert, but I know for Dolphins games there's a shuttle (that you pay for, but it's probably better than the prices for parking!) that runs from the park next to Florida International University to the stadium. I know they are county buses, too. :hmm:
Maybe if the demand is there, they will do it.

For those coming out of state which airport are you thinking of flying into? Considering Ft Lauderdale since Southwest flies into there.

Ft. Lauderdale is closer and less congested, but if you plan to stay on SouthBeach, Miami Intl. is more convenient. Plane fares to FLL usually have better prices though.
