Just watched the movie Knowing.......:der: Attention grabber at the start and then a little  I think the headache I woke up with is gone........afraid to move around to much. At least it is my day off and wouldn't have to feel icky at work. Friggin hormones

So ya slept in a bit, arw :) Not too much off the original schedule.

in my mom's world I overslept and she left without me  She's wacko when it comes to being punctual. I actually wish I could be a little more like that since I tend to be late. She said she was meeting my aunt at the house at 9:30 so that meant we HAD to be at the lake no later than 8 am sharp in order to walk 3 miles and then ruin our workout by going to Caribou for a fattening cooler. :coocoo: Meanwhile....I'm sure my aunt didn't get there at 9:30 on the dot as she's always late for everything.

Knowing :hmm: that sounds familiar. I keep getting headaches at night right before I'm about to go to bed. This is new since I moved back. But not nearly as bad as you experience, I'm sure. Mine could probably go without the use of drugs but I always take tylenol.

in case anyone is keeping track....the restaurant never called today  She did say by Monday so maybe she works on a day they are closed. Don't think so but ya never know.

weather = headaches back in MN? Stress is a oldy but a goody.........stress combined with my hormone headaches from hell = there are no words

Go to youtube and watch videos of U2, it will begin to hit that you have GA.........the potential of being *right* there. :combust:

Sorry about the lack of phone call today.........the other place may be closed on Mondays but yes, maybe, just maybe that is office work day part of the day  deep breaths, please

oh I guess I never related the weather to a headache but that's probably it. My old bones have ached since the minute I got here like they used to in the winters before I moved.

:reject: Everytime I go to youtube I end up finding my way to Maiden and Bruce (Dickinson :flirt: ). So obsessed with that man's voice these days. Plus, I fear that if I start with the U2 vids then I'll start listening to stuff from this tour which is a no no until I see them live. Speaking of the Maidens....the other day I was at HP Books and noticed they had the newest concert on dvd. That's the concert for the cd I obsessed about getting in June. It was well over half price but for some stupid ass reason I thought I would stick to my no spending money on anything but neccessities rule. :tsk: So of course I kept thinking about so I went back there today after the lake. It was gone! Someone got a good deal! :(

Music obsessions  ^
Sorry you missed out on your dvd........keep checking back. I haven't been to HP books in awhile.

It hit 90 degrees here today ~ hello summer, nice to have you back. Had chats with co-workers today and none of us are happy

what is it with Iron Maiden this weekend? Guess people are listening to them a lot these days because my other HP Books obsession was gone today. I went to the one by my grandpa's house a few weeks ago and decided not to buy a Bruce solo work compilation cd until I looked it up online to compare it to the solo stuff I have. Turns out there's a few things I haven't heard yet so I went back today to get it. Gone. :| There were 2 copies and both of them sold. I don't know why but this selling out of Maiden stuff surprises the hell out of me. I had to order the new cd online because the 2 stores within reach of me in Phoenix sold out the first week. Who knew.....

The cd today is not as big of a deal as the super cheap dvd was. I also couldn't find the Holy Grail in either of the 2 stores I went to in the last 2 days. I used to see it all the time at one of the stores but never bought it. As you might have figured out I'm very indecisive when it comes to actually buying anything when I go to HP Books. I always decide not to buy something because I don't need it and then think about what I didn't buy then go back to get it and it's gone. :der:

 My car died tonight  I have to start my new job that I'm not thrilled about tomorrow and now I have to deal with the added stress of my car. My dad will look at it tonight and he just might have to drive me tomorrow morning, which he's equally as thrilled about as I am.

I have a headache too.

We should form a club :D

Headache in Randooom, not quite as catchy as Headache in a suitcase. Hope the head feels better soon.

arw, you are on quite a roll  ............oh the car :(. Hope your dad can get it running

well today was.....different. I need to keep looking around but this works for just right now. Never heard back from that dumb ass at the restaurant. Come on, someone comes in to interview and states at both interviews how excited they were to see a job opening at your location, spends 3 hours baking with you telling you how this place is at the top of their list to work, then sends a thank you letter, then calls to follow up and you still don't have the decency to at least say thanks but no thanks. :| The place I interviewed for the week I got back last month said they'd call and never did but I didn't care. I knew it wasn't the place for me so I didn't even write a thank you note. During my baking interview we were just casually talking with another employee and both of them told me it was good to hear that someone was really that interested in working for this restaurant because of the reputation and the product and not because they needed a paycheck. Point is I think I let this chef know that I really wanted to work there and didn't care what they pay or benefits were. She could have just been straight forward with me when I called on Friday that she didn't need me or she could have just lied and said she hired someone instead of telling me she was still deciding and would call me by Monday. I know people don't always get back to you about a job but I think I expressed my interest enough to her that she would.

:grumpy: Trust me when I say none of you want to be around me these days :grumpy:

I will try to work on attitude and improve it by Irish Fest...........

Life these days is me looking forward to getting off of work and my days off.................the time spent in the store............:GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR:

^ Sounds like fun :)

I work 4 hours tomorrow, because any more than that and it's into overtime, which they won't give me for senior center hours.

Had another "crazy guy" encounter at work - different guy this time - and he's on the Friends of the Parks and Rec board! I've never seen a board meeting before but I know this guy from senior games. He's either an alcoholic or crazy or both. It really shocked me that he's on this board

4 hours isn't bad, will go fast.

Small world regarding "crazy guy" part 2..........

Survived work. Have I mentioned that I really don't enjoy the China Dept. Love the people. Hate the Dept............./broken record

Fair~ What do I eat first? It will be a potato with, what else, cheese and butter

Milwaukee is no longer the last concert on the Springsteen tour..........Nashville was postponed and they are getting Born To Run in its entirety

My GA pal J ended up at the Dr. getting x-rays on her foot/ankle......x-rays clean, but now she goes to Sports Med Dr. later this month. Wunnnnerful. I officially now feel really bad about getting GA's

Irish Fest she said she will be doing the one legged jig :giggle: I rold her she would be sitting alot

restaurant called the other day  thanks but no thanks. Wasn't even the pastry chef that called, which is soooooo tacky.

I do have a job interview at a hotel on Monday though :hyper: She sounded completely shocked when I told her the room size at the resort plus 20 ballrooms and a conference center. She said she thought I'd be more than capable of working at a 60 hotel with a few ballrooms. It's for an assistant pastry chef job. :hyper: I don't hate the bakery as much as I thought I would and I do need a part time job and the bakery needs a part time evening person so.....maybe it'll all work out that I'll get hired at the hotel and can work at the bakery too.

^more good luck wishes :)

I ate way to much today. I am now craving the cherry sundae I didn't get :der: Does that make any sense.

I am also
It may be a very early night.
I wish I would have purchased the Equador Manta CD......very soothing  I love these guys!

Searching you tube for "Springsteen view pit" is a dangerous thing.........I am now  and :hyper:

I really do believe half the fun is in the journey (as in the anticipation) and the other half is in the actual performance. The 2 combined= :combust:

It is a dark and stormy morning here.........in other words the perfect morning to sleep in.

Work till 6:30 :sigh: but off tomorrow.........It is the local village celebration so I am/was planning to walk down to parade, however, it is supposed to be humid and 94 so alternate plans may be made.

When the following 4 things happen in a short period of time, it is bad:
1. HUGE thunder crash! I mean it actually made the floors in the store shake and I was standing in the middle of the housewares area watching the glass shelving and hoping nothing crashed to the floor.
2. Mngrs go from dept. to dept. making sure flashlights are handy.......leave them out on counter are the orders
3. The following page goes out, "would the owner of car..................... with license plate # please go to the 76th street exit"
4. Mall security is showing up and getting paged all over.

Apparently that VERY loud thunder crack was associated with a lightening strike in our parking lot that took out a windshield of a car.
My fear of lightening is very much alive and well. :crack:

Um, Twitter is all a-twitter with tornado sirens going off in Minneapolis..................pastry chef, check in please..............
