I don't think it is him either. He probably doesn't have time to keep up with it

all the stupid ones
hah

theres no way to actually prove if its them or not.
but doesnt matter, twitter isnt that interestign anyway

I think a ton of them are. John Mayer, Pete Wentz, Michael Ian Black, Ellen DeGeneres...the list goes on.

Yep those folks are real on Twitter.

They are not all fakes.

There are a LOT of Christian bands on there as well. David Crowder Band (who posts pix on twitpic and they are even following me too!), Fireflight, Third Day and more. I met Third Day last year because of how they did their twitter updates telling us all when they were down at the church early in the morning and meeting fans all day. Even Daughtry is on there. He has been posting pics on Twitpic the past few days getting ready for some photo shoot.

Like you said, this list goes on....

It's easy to know which celebrities are real if they want to be followed. A lot of them post their twitter accounts on their official websites or will actually say it in interviews or whatever. Didn't Oprah actually sign up on her show on the air to prove that her account is real? Some of them do like it and don't mind being followed. Just because they are celebrities doesn't mean they have to keep something like this secret if they enjoy taking part in it as much as non celebrities.

Yes, Oprah signed up on the show and had one of the creators on there. It was when she had Ashton Kutcher on, who successfully reached the first million followers on Twitter and when he hit it, he was donating $$$ to Malaria No More.

I think most the celebs/bands follow their own people, family, etc. Sometimes you can tell from who they follow. But they at least allow people to follow them.

You are right, a lot of them will have it on their website, so you know it is really them too. Good point Comet!
