Mmm... America.

I want some big buildings in Adelaide... there's one proposed on Currie street that will be about as big as Westpac (only about 130m), but I think we need a new taller building, get a 200m up on this joint.

Unfortunately, a lot of Adelaideans hate change and for whatever reason think that a city of over one million people is still a "country town". Fucking hell, the goddamn place is spread out enough already! THAT'S JUST ONE REASON WHY OTHER STATES LAUGH AT US, YOU BIG FOOLS.

Shall we loan you the Eureka Tower for a bit just to try to make up for having a cock of a mayor?

Oh, basketball! I like that too. I played it in school, even.

That's awesome. It's one of the four or five best things you can do in life with a large, leather orange ball.

Also, what do you guys think of the file-sharing program entitled SoulSeek? I swear to God if I could make love to a computer program this would be it. I can download any fucking song or album I want to. With ease. Fucking : drooool:

I'm sayin y'all should use SoulSeek if you don't already, for realsies.

See, torrents and Google Blogsearch have done a good job of providing me music, so I haven't used SoulSeek yet.

SoulSeek.

Yessssssssss. is seriously the best way to describe it.

See, torrents and Google Blogsearch have done a good job of providing me music, so I haven't used SoulSeek yet.

I've never messed around very much with torrents. Probably should. But Google Blogsearch seems a bit hit or miss for me sometimes. I don't know, I would suggest giving SoulSeek a go eventually. It's really great. And, I don't know much about this kind of stuff, but it doesn't seem to be the kind of thing that puts your computer in danger of viruses, etc. like previous file sharing programs did. Also, it's incredibly easy to download and use.

Now I sound like I'm selling the goddam thing to you. Ha. Anyway...

Stealing music is a wonderful pastime.

I hope I don't go to hell for the amount of music I've stolen in my life.

True, Google Blogsearch can be hit-and-miss sometimes. I've found that if you choose the right search terms (which can be variable), you'll usually find something good, though, and it's introduced me to some good sites with shitloads of music. Sordo and Bunalti are two of my main sources of music.

I have heard that there's all kinds of rare underground Kiwi music available on SoulSeek though ... one day when I realise my current collection of obscure Kiwi shit nobody else has ever listened to is too small, I'll give the program a spin and see what else I can find.

Where on earth has everybody gone? And where's Charlotte been these last couple of days?

Also, I do believe birthday wishes are in order to you, Ian. Happy birthday!

Ian, I must know. The sig - shot at me, the forum, or both?

oh, i happened to be reading back on an old thread at the same time as i was catching up on you guys scoring more tickets. in that context, it cracked me up.

it's a shot at you, but it's meant to be lighthearted. if you don't see it that way, i'm happy to take it down.

Well, some of it would be work on my thesis, which ... I actually think will be enjoyable once I get going. Starting it feels like the hardest part.

starting is overrated. i love how good i feel about everything this semester (except photography...way to suck the fun out of a subject), but i'm still procrastinating way too damn much.
