I thought it could be handy to start a new thread only for pricing/seating issues.
this is the example for Amsterdam. Maybe others can post similar schemes for other venues?

I am wondering what will happen with the black square and the light blue parts??

seems to make more sense if you ask me  but yeah, at least you get a decent view whichever seat you get! :)

Black could be the lottery seats, so you can't really "buy" them per-say but rather buy the GA and hopefully get lucky? Just a thought.

red part is standing.

Maybe the balck part is smae as red part, but looks differnt since they had to put that picture of teh stage on top of it? But I am still wondering what the light blue sections will cost. I am going for GA.

For the US it appears to only be 4 price ranges. According to the article in Billboard, 15% of the tickets will be $250, 45% will be $90-95 and 40% of the total tickets will be $55 or less, with 10,000 at every show priced at $30.

The entire floor is to be priced at $55, except for a VIP area that will be put up for auction.

So the 55 EURO/USD for GA is nonsense. I don't like the way they advertized the price schedule for the new tour. It's kinda bullshit if you look at the AMS scheme.

And the 30 EUR tix are real nosebleeders. Trust me, you don't wanna sit there if you are a fan(atic).

EDIT: they have changed it???

Zitplaats PL1 (exclusief servicekosten): €150.00
Veldplaats PL2 (exclusief servicekosten): €55.00
Zitplaats PL3 (exclusief servicekosten): €80.00
Zitplaats PL4 (exclusief servicekosten): €75.00
Zitplaats PL5 (exclusief servicekosten): €65.00
Zitplaats PL6 (exclusief servicekosten): €30.00

That looks better :hyper:

GA 55 euro!

Hope they won't change it again.
I'm definitely trying for A'dam!

In the current issue of Billboard magazine that went on sale this weekend, with the U2 cover and 4 page article, excerpts of which appeared on Billboard - Music News Magazine for Fans and Music Executives - Music Search on Friday.

Ok -thanks.
"There will be some VIP packages available, Fogel says. "There are a couple of areas on the floor by the runway that map out logically to auction," he says."

I might consider that, depending on how the auction prices go.

I agree. I'm thinking that my best option may be those $30 tickets "behind" the stage. The band may be looking the other way most of the night, but at least they'll be close enough to see!

I think the 10,000 $30 seats in every stadium will sell out quickly. All the floor at $55 and most of the $250 seats should also be high in demand. The toughest tickets for them to sell will be the worst of the $90-95 tickets. People will think that if they're going to be far form the stage anyway, that $30 is decent enough price for that, but to be paying over 3 times that amount for the tickets close to the $30 sections, will be a harder sell to buyers. the $90-95 tickets make up 45% of the total tickets, so some of those will be pretty good seats for the price, but a lot of them will betoo far away for that price.

Why the heck are those orange and purple sections behind the stage (behind the *arms) so expensive?? Whos gonna pay to sit behind those when its £30 for a further back bit with full view?

I wonder if they'll offer GAs in blocks. I'm thinking that stadiums in US, with only 16 or so shows nationwide...it's going to be a BITCH to get up front in GA. Overnight camping will probably be a must. It'd be awesome if they sold GA tickets to different areas of the field.

This may seem like a random question but its something that I need to clarify before the presale. Its mainly directed to people in the UK.

On the presale email, it says under 'Ways You Can Pay' that 'most major debit cards' are suitable forms of payment. I own a Natwest Maestro debit card, does anyone here use one of these, and do you believe that this should suffice? I emailed U2.com a few hours ago but obviously they've probably got tons of queries to deal with at the moment. Do you think if I contact my bank that they may be able to answer my question??
