You know, they should really take some of these songs, with Eno and Lanois and maybe some other live instruments (strings, horns), onto Jools Holland. Sure, belt Boots and Breathe or whatever all over the award shows, but take, say, MoS and White as Snow with some great arrangement onto a show like that – built for showcasing great music. Will totally counter balance this ‘very U2’ stuff and open a few more eyes (ears).

Absolutely. I was thinking it would be great if they played on Jools Holland. All my favorite live performances are usually on there.
 
Thanks all, I think Boots is getting better, but the passion and force of the Let Me in The Sound bit is a lot more on the album, hard to duplicate it live I guess and having Bono not join Edge but only in certain parts hurts it a bit too. With all of these rockers, I think we might have some stadiums around the world need their footings rebuilt!!!!!!

I couldn't agree more... this is my favorite on the album, and the one I was most concerned with as it pertains 2 how they'd per4m it live. They nailed it, especially Bono.
 
Seeing Adam & Larry (especially Larry) playing like that is really awesome. Those 2 have been the backbone of U2 for years & seeing that effort from your rhythm section this early in the game should take everyone's musicianship to the next level!!
