I don't think I'm joining in the listening party. I'm halfway through MOS, and I don't feel like starting over for the second time.

Ian, I just have to throw this in here before I go: I admit that I'm jealous of you and Khan right now! I wish I had a fan-boyfriend to share this with right now :sigh:

We need a stand in fan boyfriend for Charlotte!! STAT!!!! Ax? You're alone at the moment...you'll do!

I'm pumping it while I cook dinner on the BBQ....

We're all out of co-ordination. Shall we all just listen, post our thoughts, and see how it works out? I mean, some of us will be up to different parts, but we can still all discuss it, and the comments about songs to come should get those of you who are behind more amped up to hear them. Sure worked for me when gorman was giving his commentary anyway.

OK, when you put it that way, I'll stay where I am on the album.

Edge slide solos FTW.

Bono sounds so passionate throughout this album, the title track in particular.

And then she put her tongue in my ear...ooaahahahahhooooooooo

Love the extra stuff in the mix of NLOTH I. I still think I'm favouring NLOTH II at this point, but NLOTH I definitely does a damn good job and announces the album in a big way.

Okay. Well. I like NLOTH II a bit better than the album version. Though this isn't bad.

NLOTH I >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> NLOTH II

It's not even close. I mean, shit, you can't even understand half of what Bono says on II. It's pretty clear that the track wasn't meant to be played at that speed. It's just fantastic on the album.

Fucking love the intro of Magnificent. That's the stuff I like to hear.

Then the song just takes flight.

The beginning of Magnificent makes me feel like I'm listening to Pop. Only the mixing isn't as shitty as 90s U2. Which is good.

Crazy Tonight is really by-the-numbers, but it's very solidly written. It's not awful by any means.
