i suppose it is a brand name, perhaps the most dominant, way beyond kleenex. i mean, i know kleenex are tissues, and xerox = copy, etc, but a popsicle is a popsicle.New Zealanders call it an ice block, as do some Aussies. Other Aussies call it an icy pole. Popsicle is a brand name, so calling an ice block a Popsicle is like calling a tissue a Kleenex to me.
both of those are deliciousQuattro stagione. The Big Americans Supreme. with pepperoni, ham, mushrooms and capsicum(sp?).
I haven't found thatr in the supermarket yet of any other brand. Now I'm eating a hawaii.

I've never met an Australian who doesn't say "ice block". Anyone who says "icy pole" is borderline retarded as far as I'm concerned.
(Naturally, apologies to anyone here who happens to say "icy pole".)

I thought it was a Kiwism. I never knew Australians even used "ice block" until I left Queensland.
Which perhaps says it all.
That would be me.
I got called a retard yesterday, too...
Shall I tell you all my Story?
both of those are delicious
water icecream
Okay, that makes icy pole sound like high literature.
well there's two different ice creams for us
waterijs = water ice cream, is the popsicle kind..
roomijs = litt cream ice cream, which is like cornetto and magnum and all the non watery ice creams
waterice is a particular different thing, slushie-like.
ice = frozen water
cream = really thick milk
ice cream = frozen water plus really thick milk
ice cream made of water and no cream = ... ice?
*hides from GG's wrath*
Very well, I shall tell the Story, as my 19,000th post.
dutch... i am hoping the worthy dutch guy i met 5 fucking weeks ago right before i left texts or calls. i either said i'd be back end of jan or first of feb, i hadn't booked my ticket yet so i was vague, but i really liked him call me call me
yes and fell head over heals after 20 minutes of flirting, but then after i gave him my number had to tell him "oh by the way i'm gone til the end of january" and he was all "oh." in a very flat way so i shoulda got his number and offered to call when i got back, but i didn't, so now i have to wait and maybe never see him again, after the best 20 minute flirt of my life.Pfft.
Ooooh you met a Dutchie?
