I am grateful for:

The people in my life, the relationships and love I am able to share

That at birth, I basically won the lotto (comparatively speaking), in the time, place, and circumstances in which I happened to be born

That each new day, I am given an opportunity to try and be a more decent person and make better choices

That there really is no hell
except the hell man has created on earth, or in his own mind

The brilliant, soul bearing posts that many take the time, risks and guts to write in this forum
And that every now and then, some of us, actually do see the humanity in others that are different from us

Breastfeeding Threads

My Wife(Apparently Blind enough to think I look like John Cusack)

My children who are gifts from God.

My Church for giving us a place to worship God with others different from us.

The health of my loved ones.

The fact that I have a great job.

Interference - Although I feel my posts have deteriorated over time.

There are to many blessings bestowed on me....that I feel unfworthy of.

That I have pretty much everything I really need.

That I have a good deal of what I want.

That I don't have everything I want.

^ I think that pretty much says it all actually, but anyhow...

my family, in-laws and pets included

my heritage, for better and for worse

good health

close friends

my students and colleagues

hiking and camping

books and writing

a job which gives me many opportunities to travel

good food, and that my mother made sure we all learned to prepare it

FYM

Really, it's such a wondrous thing simply to be alive and able to drink in experience.

Happy Thanksgiving everybody!

For health and being able to walk and talk and see and hear and everything else

For laughter and fun, that I can still have and enjoy both

For the strength that God and God's love gives me, and for his love making me a more empathetic and compassionate and humble person

For a roof over my head and all the other material necessities and luxuries

Family, friends, my dog

For genuinely good decent people

For nature and the everyday simple things
Can't say it better than that!!!

Family, friends that let me lean on them, life, death, and finally (perhaps) having learned to let go.

And with that I'm going off to bed. Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

I'm thankful I can still see it, expierence it, spread it and even in some cases buy it. (yes it's possible, sometimes - to buy happiness)

Oh, I shall. I shall.

I'm also thankful that the disastorous seven hours lost in the jungles of Saipan yesterday didn't turn into being stuck out there all night!

I'm thankful for some great Saipan cops that helped rescue me and my buddy.
