Wow. I'd never heard that before. For all those who want someone to blame for the band's poor decision making in the 2000s, add Jimmy Iovine to your list. It's funny how Edge tries to steer Bono away from saying anything he'll regret with his little 'Ready?' interruption. But it's great to hear the rage inside them being translated into something really interesting. Not the greatest performance ever but a reminder of how great that song is. (And, sticking my nose above the parapet, how great Pop is.)
