um, did you actually read the site other than the thumbnails? I suggest you go to the first link and try again, as it apparently went right over your head.

he was "Dumped by sugar" just as Thom Yorke was "Dumped by chocolate" and Michael Stipe was "Dumped by milk".

it's as is not unusual for Bono and U2, a way of drawing attention to a social cause via the music, in this particular way quite literally.
