Ba ba barbecue
Smells like barbecue
Ba ba barbecue
Smells like barbecue

Ba ba barbecue
Smells like barbecue
Ba ba barbecue
Smells like barbecue

Salt and pepper
Then we rub it up and down the meat
The fat that shuts your heart down
A side of cole slaw, corn bread, even beans
With a beer
From the cooler
Watching you cry that there’s no gravy

Sorry to interrupt the tasty lyrics, but I'm wondering if no one has noticed the clear connection between Best Thing and

Acrobat
?

Key limes, bread that's unleavened
You're shopping for a snack significant
Artichokes or Jalapenos
Hey now, make blancmange
Dressings such as relish
Your brie is mould filled but it's edible
You say after burgers, you want fries
Then in your dessert, you taste allspice
Oh, is that Worcestershire

the "Hey now, make blancmange" line was the only thing that gave it away

First I thought you were just commenting on how they both mention 'face', but then I checked the actual liner notes and realized what you were saying. I never noticed that. But it's not 'in' snow, btw

I still can't believe Acrobat is actually being played. And on a nightly basis.

As long as it stays in the set until Boston. I was a touch bummed ASOH got dropped before getting here last summer, but I saw it twice in 1985, so not crushed, if they dropped Acrobat, I'd be very angry. I'm avoiding listening to it/watching it on YouTube until I see it live, very much looking forward to it

When I saw “Hey now” I first thought Lights Of Home but it didn’t make sense.

Same here. I'm seeing them on June 9, and last tour I ended up being on the first "night 2" shows in which they skipped ASOH. Hopefully that will not happen this time. But it's good sign that it has not rotated out even in San Jose night 2. I'm cautiously optimistic.

It's not a cake
This pastry is swirled round and round
To stuff my face
I close my eyes and start to pound

Start to pound, start to pound
Start to pound, all the brown
Start to pound, start to pound
All the brown

It's not a cake
This pastry is swirled round and round
It adds some weight
For every piece I swallow down

Stuff it in my fucking hole
Stuff it in my fucking hole
Stuff my fucking hole
Came here looking for a cinnamon roll

This is the first time in ages I've been legit amused by the bastardized lyrics.
