I guess it is not the first time U2 refers the "cedar" word, mostly because of Cedarwood.
Scent of cedar, I can still see her...
When I was a young boy in the suburbs of Cedarwood...

"Hendrix-inspired sound" is good news to me. I'm all for a big textured guitar style.

There's actually a place called Tripoli in Lebanon as well:

(I'm sorry if it's been mentioned already )
Good find! That clip reminds me of Interpol for some reason...

Really cool title for a song, I think. Can't wait to hear what it sounds like!

I hate waiting. Then I hate when the waiting's over.
It's like being a kid again on Christmas morning.
I'm not making any sense.
Oh well,

This reminds me, why are the online lyrics for "Deep In The Heart" all wrong?

Not that yours are.

Add me to the list of people who hate the name.

Here's hoping the actual song is halfway decent. :crossesfingers:

It would be great if Cedars of Lebanon = support for the Lebanese struggle for democracy in the way that Walk On = support for Aung San Suu Kyi and Burma. What a fantastic signal to send!
