War Child
Looks like that U2 may add a couple more awards to their ever increasing collection of awards won so far in past 12 months.
U2's up for "Top Tour" award with competition from the likes of Eminem, Oasis, Kylie Minogue and the one to beat if U2 is to win the award, Madonna. Both U2 and Madonna whether right or wrong has been grabbing a lot of headlines with their tours but Id say that since Top of the Pops is a British institution, U2 would get it cos U2 had played more British shows than the big lady herself this year. We'll wait and see!
The other award that U2 is up for is "Top Rock" with competition from Travis, Limp Bizkit, Stereophonics and Wheatus. I reckon this should be an easy one to win cos of U2's popularity and their successful tour this year but we'll wait and see what happens.....
Hmmmm, the show itself is on 30th November so who knows U2 might be free then to join in the fun at Manchester......????????
any comments, anyone?
