War Child
There's a local boston band called The Great Northern http://www.thegreatnorthern.net/mainpage.hmtl who's song Rocket Fight has been described as "the indie reply to U2's Beautiful Day"
Another Boston band, The Good North (an excellent name IMO) http://www.thegoodnorth.com/ were reviewed by The New Hampshire (UNH's student paper) and the lead singer was mentioned as being evocative of Bono and Thom Yorke.
Strange. Two bands with similar names, and both from Boston, with U2 references. Check them out for yourself. Tell me what you think. I don't know if I would necessarily agree with either of these comparisons, but interesting nonetheless.
