War Child
I hardly listen thus forum-dedicated band anymore.
But after that one thread about making NLOTH mono, I spliced NLOTH and made both output tracks from the right-channel (or whatever channel that was recommended). I did this on pretty much all the tracks and saved it as MP3.
Tonight, my iPod randomly played MOS. And though I don't usually notice anymore the subtlety of texture in music as much as the melody. I heard MOS' electronic sampling through my overear headphones.
So the thought came to mind, that NLOTH might have been a little more interesting if it were less "poppy", and more dark, ambient, electronic like Radiohead juxtaposed to a soulful, warm gospel vocals.
But that's just a spark of thought that passed my mind. IMHO, of course.
