I was not expecting much from the Wallflowers release... but it is quite good. :yes:

Still need to pick up Gorillaz, though. :mad:
 
I just returned from my vacation from New York and Washington. It was excellent. But luckily I don't live in New York, or I would be broke in a minute. So many excellent CD shops, so many CDs to buy, so little money.

Anyway, I bought the following:

Johnny Cash - At Folsom Prison
The Costello Show - King Of America (2CD reissue)
Franz Ferdinand (with bonus disc)
Emmylou Harris - Wrecking Ball
Joss Stone - The Soul Sessions (used)
Brian Wilson - Smile
V/A - We're A Happy Family: A Tribute To The Ramones

Though not everything I bought was for myself, I'd also bought some presents:
The Costello Show - King Of America (2CD reissue for a friend)
Neil Diamond - some best of (for my mother)
U2 - How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb (for my father)
Robbie Williams - Live At Knebworth (for my sister)

Alison Kraus- Now that I've Found You (this one's for my dad for his bday...i, umm, havent yet come to appreciate this type of music)

now im broke, and i havent yet finished paying for my u2 tix. might be getting a job soon, to support my music habit :hyper: oh and so i can go to college and all that...

Got all three of these for $9.99 apiece at Circuit City's big CD sale today. Thanks to mofo for letting me know about it. :)

The Chemical Brothers - 'Push the Button'
 
Architecture in Helsinki - 'In Case We Die'
13 & God - self-titled (this album is a collaboration between The Notwist and Themselves)
VNV Nation - 'Futureperfect' (picked this up at their concert which I attended tonight, it was so awesome)

My Chemical Romance - Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge
Gorillaz - Demon Days
Social Distortion - Social Distortion
