Ok After hearing each song a million times, which songs do you think will be singles? Here is my order.

1- Vertigo
2- SYCMIOYO
3- ABOY
4- Miracle Drug
5- Original of the Species (maybe?)

We do know the SYCMIOYO will be the second single to be released early next year. Anyone think there will be 5 singles?

If LAPOE were to be released as a single, the intro would be edited or wholly removed.

I imagine songs such as Miracle Drug, ABOY, and OOTS stand much better chances of being released as singles.

I don't see Miracle Drug as a single. I think it's a great song, but doesn't seem single-like to me.

Miracle Drug IMO has all the elements of a hit. Hopefully my judgement of reality isn't clouded amongst all this mayhem, but
I believe I can see Miracle Drug really fucking up the mainstream. And I really really hope it hits No. 1. It's so catchy and memorable, it's my 3rd favourite song of all time.

Miracle Drug, City of Blinding Lights, and All Because of You seem like the logic follow-ups to Vertigo. I guess I would go with Miracle Drug just because it's so damn good.

What was the next single? I forgets......"Sometimes" and "Miracle Drug" will undoubtedly be singles.....none of the rest really stands out in that way, so I'm not sure what the fourth (or later) singles will end up being.

The label told the writers and such that Sometimes... is the 2nd single. So after that, I would guess that they pull what they did last time and release different singles on different continents,
USA get ABOY 3rd (direct rock) maybe UK gets a different song and so on.

I think ABOY is one of the 4 or 5 singles, in addition to Vetigo and Sometimes. I don't know about the other 1 or 2, OOTS and Miracle Drug possibly. I think COBL might be too long to 'edit' down and make it a 'single'. But it could happen of course.

That's a good point....I could see the third single being different songs in the UK and US. I'm listening to "ABOY" and it would definitely do well here on the rock stations.....I think the UK would better take to the lighter material since they're so infatuated with that Coldplay/Keane sort of stuff.

Can i just say that this is the most u2 lp since Joshua tree.
ATYCLB was u2 trying to be u2.
HTDAAB is u2 being u2 naturally.
There are tracks on here that are evoke memories of their whole career.
