Hi old forumpals! It's been a while!

Okay. I know. I shouldn't get wound up by fools trying to stir trouble... but this thread, at another forum I occasionally post in, made me feel rather sick. it reminded me why I haven't posted there for a long time.

Pardon me, but I resent seeing Bono being compared to Gary 'Should Have Had It Chopped Off At Birth' Glitter. I didn't wade into the ''discussion'' because I was too disgusted by it. I just wanted to see what you folks think.

I know I'm getting too upset over a few pointless nasty comments, but what a horrible thing to say about someone! Luckily there seem to be some sensible people there too...

I understand, but people shouldn't waste their time on things like that.
So what if Bono is being insulted move on, pay no attention to them.

I know you're right on that one. Some things get to me though, and it was what was being implied that upset me, not the fact that B was being criticised. I'm somewhat past the stage of teenage idolatry!

Anyway, things affect different people in different ways, etc etc etc... I guess what bothers one person might mean nothing to someone else.
