I was thinking about that too, but isn't that called a Lanyard??

(over here, there was a competition a few years back to give that thing an official name and Hou-touw won, but I don't think it's the same in the Netherlands )

is it? I figured since it was an english term it'd be the english word for it.... we use that in Holland aswell...
