Holy hell at the changes today. I wasn't able to be at the party today, but I was following U2Gigs on my phone. I must say, I'm not a huge fan of the changes they made on paper, other than bringing No Line back and playing EBW (NYD > IWD, SBS > Pride, and Ultraviolet > HMTMETCETERA for me), but it's still pretty awesome that they shook it up this much.

Now to listen to stuff...

Sounds good but its quite hard to differentiate from North Star since they are being played acoustically. Great melodies in there though. And the acoustic NLOTH sounds fantastic as well, great version.

I'm only halfway through EBW, and it's not full band, but I really, really like it so far.

A tour debut (I will follow), 2 leg debuts (NLOTH + Pride), a new song debut (Every Breaking Wave) + quite the setlist shake-up from one night to the other (the above 4 songs + Hold me, Thrill me, Kiss me, Kill me).

Triple WOW!!!

U2 make a date to rock Sydney

I think I shall just about die of pure happiness right now

:combust:

I like the acoustic No Line, but it mainly just makes me miss the full version. I mean, really, they have Adam and Larry, why not just plug in the Epiphone Casino instead of the acoustic guitar and press the 'No Line On The Horizon' button? Bono doesn't even have to play guitar if he doesn't want to.

Whatevs. It's still nice to have the song back, and it's not the worst acoustic translation they've ever done.

Every Breaking Wave is gorgeous
