    TICKET DROPS thread

Is it safe to say that I can buy a ticket at the box office on show night? That's the plan for me, if I can't secure a GA. Anybody ever NOT get into the show when waiting at the box office on show night?

    Phoney U2 Fans In Honolulu

A day won't do it, especially if they were from Europe (and over 30). Back in April, the time difference for me was 3 hours (daylight savings), and I was falling asleep inside Dukes at 10pm on Sat. night.

Maybe they were suffering from jet lag, it can be tough adjusting to the Hawaii time difference.

    Aloha stadium warning

I have a harder time getting in and out of Dodger Stadium on a weekend, this was a breeze. Watching the sunset from the parking lot was sweet. I had zero issues after the show driving thru Waikiki, I was expecting marathon street gridlock. The only problem I had was finding a place to eat in...

I have a video of the performance, at least most of it, I did catch the end when Bono asked your name and said you rock.

    Aloha stadium warning

Just got back myself, due to traffic nightmare stories we decided to arrive early (around 2:30 or so) and the stadium area was almost a ghost town. Traffic didn't really start until 5 pm or so, and even then it looked to be moving. Great show, can't stop watching my concert video taken with my...

Oh damn, did I say "Thanks bro" in my previous post. I totally apologize, I feel like an idiot. What I meant to say was, Thanks friend.

Thanks bro, I think Saturday we'll have an early breakfast and off to the show, with plenty of tailgating products. Good to know the post concert traffic won't be as bad. I appreciate your feed back.

So once the parking lot is full, where do we park? I assume it's a 2-3 hour wait to exit stadium after show, am I correct?

Good tip. We'll probably stay inside the parking lot and tailgate, but at least now we have some options. Thanks.

    Aloha stadium warning

I know the road, I remember seeing Pearl Harbor on my way to the swap meet in April. How about this Pearl Ridge Mall, what is the distance from the stadium? I don't remember seeing the mall in April, it must be on the other side of Pearl Harbor.

Hawaii - December 9 - Part XVIII (Continued)

You can't? Guess I've been a bad boy all this time, especially during Vegas flights. I've never had a problem with dehydration during a flight, even after 3 Jack and Cokes, so I'm not too concerned about getting sick.

Hawaii - December 9 - Part XVIII (Continued)

This might be a stupid question, but what about the small plastic bottles of booze? I brought a few bottles of Jack on the flight in April, I get a little nervous during long flights and booze seems to be the best medicine, do you think the shot bottles will be allowed?

So for how many will this mark a second trip to Hawaii...

Second time for me, April was my first visit to Oahu and had a great time. It's raining in L.A. and getting cold at night, can't wait for the warm weather next week.
