They're both great albums. I wouldn't say either are "masterpieces", but they are both strong pieces of work, which I'm sure will be seen as the cream of the 00s when we look back in years from now.

I respect your opinion and I can understand why some people do not 'get' Coldplay, particularly U2 fans. But what I do not agree with is your statement that Chris Martin is a 'poor singer'. He really isn't. His voice is special and I don't think there is anyone else with a voice like his. Just...

I disagree. I think Coldplay will be the biggest band in the world once U2 retire. And they still haven't reached half of their true potential yet.

I love the song. It doesn't need to be a "genius" song; I'm just glad U2 are back.
