Congrats all Winnipeg U2 fans! It's been a long wait since '97. Just need to wait for the presale code.

For me it should have gone to a Red Cross volunteer (anyone of them). Not only where they important during Katrina and the Tsunami earlier in the year, but they risk there lives in war torn countries like Iraq and Afghanistan.

I just got home and from reading the setlist tonight, I think i'm about to cry. I had tried so hard to get tickets for Minneapolis and wasn't able to go (wasn't able to afford brocker/Ebay ticket prices). I missed one hell of a show. I just hope they have a stadium tour next summer and visit...

Well its the day before the show and still nothing. Does anyone think that they may release tickets at the Target Center box office? have other shows released tickets the day of the show? It would suck if I drive 7 hours and can't get a ticket.

Well, my only hope to seeing U2 this tour doesn't look good. So far there has not been any ticket-drop from TM for Minneapolis while Toronto, Chicago, Milwaukee, Boston, and New York have each had one for the 3rd leg (ticket broker or Ebay where not an option). Hope it still happens.

Since its the 60th anniversary of the Hiroshima/Nagasaki (Aug. 6 and 9) a-bombings do you think the band will play 'The Unforgettable Fire' at one of the next shows?

I listened to X&Y and thought it was a pretty solid effort by Coldplay. The more you listen to it, the more you will like it. One thing for everyone to listen for, the chorus in the song 'The Hardest Part' sounds identical to the chorus in 'Wild Honey'. I guess if Coldplay want to be the best...

Haven't seen much action on this thread lately. Its starting to look like people are resigning to the fact the band may not be stopping here in Winnipeg or in Western Canada for that matter, which I think is a real shame. So many fans out here and we get the cold shoulder. Its starting to...
