Not homemade but same breakfast here.

:hi5:

Even though it brings disaster to public transport and traffic, I love it that it's snowing like woah out here. Took me ages to walk home from work since I took the bus since I couldn't get my bike from the shed(door was literally frozen shut). But now I'm home it's rather pretty. We just finished decorating the christmas tree. perfect wintery image!

overexaggerating.

i went to three U2 shows, my mates say "you seeing U2 soon? you've only seen them eight thousand times in the past week"

it's a like a metre and a half from the toilet door to the toilet in a friend's house. i walked back out and said "sorry i've been gone so long, just had to trek across the Sahara desert to get to the toilet".

 many laughs to be had.

loved the weekend! i was sooooo damn busy for three days in a row that i just fell to bed last night of exhaustion! my schooling from early morning til evening + a nice jazz-concert :)

that i get to see Love Actually again tonight :) i could put on the DVD, but seeing it from TV is a whole other thing! mental note: get some wipes! i heart this movie!

that I actually felt my heart jumping and racing when i saw him today! that's like the first time it's happened...

< Love my freakin' clinic. Went for a full chiropractic assessment today and will be getting a comprehensive treatment plan and regular adjustments as soon as the x-rays come back. My spine will soon be in perfect working order :nerd: :jobperks:

I  this band too...

That there is Roxy Music. And that fellow on the bottom of the pic... on the left... is Brian Peter George St. John le Baptiste de la Salle Eno (You know his as U2 producer Brian Eno)

Christmas sweets! Like almond cookies and chocolate-covered pretzel peanut butter balls. There is talk of a Black Forest cake making an appearance, as well. :shifty:

Got home late last night in a blizzard from visiting my sister in Virginia since last Thursday. It was so good to see her. When she and her hubby met me at the airport, we just held onto each other and cried. I miss her so much! They were hoping to come home for Christmas, but the weather looks threatening. Their new home is beautiful, and just feels "right." We also went on an evening candlelight tour of Thomas Jefferson's home, Monticello, including a climb up 75 very narrow steps to the dome room on top, which is not included on the usual tours that we've been on before.

I loved Fluffy's flower in her hair. And her creepy frog umbrella.

Loved that Sally played chauffeur. That was awesome.

Love that Fitz was able to make it to dinner, even after a tire issue in the rain.

Loved Devs tights. Thems was cool! And love her smile, that warms up a room.

Loved that Nic DIDN'T do a spit-take across the table at me... THIS time. (Not so loving that the flash on her camera caused us cornea damage!)

Love love love that we got to all have dinner with the Lovely and wonderful Ms. Zooey. And we got to meet her friend Lori (who was very cool).

I love hearing my children burst into Christmas carols "en francais!"

The fact that today was my last official working day of 2010. Lawyerin' on hold for 12 days!

The fact I am sitting in my house, not the office, in jeans and a hoodie, not a suit and pantyhose, on my way to have pizza and watch a movie, not eat dinner at 9:30 at my desk, with the other half and not coworkers.

Having a new washer/dryer delivered tomorrow.

Going home to see the parental units tomorrow night.

Life in general.

I  typos that make an innocent sentence seem really naughty, and you can't go back and fix it!:shifty::sexywink:

I love when Word, though it highlights everything in red for being a weird name, makes my story look like an actual novel ish thing. Mmm.

Hahaha. That is wonderful.

As of 5:00 p.m. today, I am officially away from the office until Monday, January 3, 2011. Thursday and Friday, and next Thursday and Friday, are official university holidays. By taking three days of vacation December 27 through 29, I'm outta there for 11 days! Hello, sleep. Hello, shopping/cooking/decorating. Hello, Christmas celebrations with the family. And hellllllooooo, MrPurrl!
