I forgot around where you are...how could you not have a thunderstorm! or they are very rare in your area?

I thought you had thunderstorms, like, every other day in your area, Cori. In the desert, esp in the last couple years, they're a rarity.

I'm in Seattle. We get a lot of gray, a lot of clouds, fog, misty rain. Not so much with the thunderstorms. If you live on the other side of the Cascades, in Eastern Washington, or even in the Cascade foothills on this side of the mountains, you're more likely to get them.

We get one crack of thunder in Seattle, and everyone's all "ZOMG A STORM!" And all of us transplants from the midwest, east coast or south are all "That ain't a storm."

A couple of summers ago, we had two honest-to-pete thunderstorms. I was so freaking excited, even though they were in the middle of the night and I only woke up briefly for them.

No thunderstorms. Just part of the wacky weather in the Pacific Northwest.

I'm missing FL's hurricane season right now, and I can't believe it but I kinda miss it! It alternates between lovely days and ZOMG APOCALYPSE! every couple of days. It is kind of awesome. Except when you need to drive to work, and make it in from the paring lot.

I know!!!!! Today, on the tricep thing would have been a PERFECT time for a quick camera shot, but alas, i didn't have my phone. And it's weird now that we're kinda friends (or whatever). Like he's aware of me so might catch me taking a pic. I'm trying really really really hard to think of a reason besides "You look like The Edge" to take a pic.

Tell him you are trying to figure out how to take pics on your phone. Myave he will offer to show you how, and then youcaould use him as a test pic. I know, lame, but I am grasping at straws here!
