I find that if I listen to shows from this tour too much, I get burned out on them *very* quickly, probably because they're so similar. And I've only watched the dvd a handful of times...maybe 3 or 4? and the last few times, I skipped through a lot of it

This. :hi5:

By the time my shows rolled around last tour, I knew exactly what song was coming up next, and there were no surprises. Vegas was awesome, but Vancouver was quite a bit of a letdown. I was so burned out on them.

So for next year, I'm going to avoid everything (as much as I can) up until my shows. Thankfully they're at the beginning of the leg.

And Jem, I caught your replies in the last thread :hug :

Will PM you to get you up to date properly.

Toronto4/Chicago 1 - Vertigo 2005.

Remember last tour, when they used to change things up regularly? I really, really, REALLY want them to go back to low-tech, simple shows so they can do that again. :heart :

This. I loved the fact they did stadiums in Europe last tour and then me and Wild got to do arenas over in Canada/USA.

You actually eat sushi?! :hyper : :lol : :reject : Sorry - I just know you like really plain food, so I'm surprised if you do actually love it! :wink : :kiss :

Umm, yes! Last night I watched the Victor, Victrola episode. :combust : Good lord is he ever delicious. *fans self*

:lmao: I like bits of it. Don't like Tempura or alot of the starters but will try most pieces of Sushi/Sashimi. I worked in a Japanese restaurant for a few months years ago.

I LOVE that episode. Blairs dress. :hyper::love:

You can have him. :sexywink::kiss: He looks so f'ing hot right now :combust: but I can still have Gary and perve on Bono right? :shifty: Right? :shifty:

Bono in Leather pants

Gasp, I couldn't tell.

 the only reason I got it is because Live Nation screwed up and sold it SUPER cheap on their website. It was like regular $169 here, on sale for around $129-ish, but LN had it for $39.99. Sarah bought it for me as an early b-day present.

:hyper: One GL on order. :combust::love:

I wonder if the person responsible still works there :lol :

:lmao:

I will happily teach anyone about sushi. : D If it's done right, it's fabulous. :love : Will have to talk with Montrealers before the show, and find a good place for us to go.

Good idea.

I KNOW!! A bunch of us around here were able to get it for that price!

That's two box set releases I've gotten for crazy low prices now, because of a pricing error. :up :

NLOTH UK Amazon.

Good idea.

Sushi's not something you mess around with. If I'm going to a restaurant, I want to make sure ahead of time that it's a good place. I'm sure there will be some place in Montreal that will be excellent.

Our office is moving to a bigger location in a few months, and I'm really going to miss having a fabulous sushi restaurant on the first floor of our building. We'll be about a 10-15 minute drive away, so I'll probably have to find a new sushi place to eat at for weekday lunches. That's pretty much the only downside to the upcoming move.

ETA - see ya later, VP!
