I got the email just now and I laughed that it specifically said "by popular demand U2 are coming back one night only to Toronto and Chicago."

What about Boston? I'm hoping they're not fooling around with trying to play Fenway Park. I'm sure they'll add a show for Boston (Gillette) somewhere before the East Rutherford show.

I don't know I just find it odd that my city isn't on the 1st list?

Edit: Must be because 2nd night (9/21) wasn't completely sold out?
And BTW I do realize that most people's cities may not be listed YET.
Maybe Bob Kraft didn't like the way the field wound up in Sept. : )

(jumping the gun or starting the beginning of something)

Please, get another date or two for around the Philly area! Two hour drive for me, and that's just fine!

A July 11th or 13th show for Philly would be nice for a back-to-back set of shows. Drive down, get a hotel room, have fun.

There were rumors this might happen, but I still dont want to believe there is no new england date... What surprises me more is that Chicago, Miami, Philly, Toronto get a date.......... but NOT BOSTON????? That would feel like major rejection!!!! :((( Just bc it didnt sellout on night 2? Ugh.

I really hope Boston gets a date....

OMG Spartan Stadium! I go to MSU! I'm a Spartan! THAT'S MY COLLEGE FOOTBALL STADIUM! ON A WEDNESDAY! IN MICHIGAN! THIS HAS NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE AND WILL NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN AND I GO TO THIS SCHOOL...THAT GA LINE IS SO MINE! :hyper::hyper::hyper::hyper::hyper::hyper::hyper:

I'd agree with you in the gaps, but it seems to mirror this tour where they had quite a few days off between cities for rest and the major setup.

Oh well, if they don't come back I'll spin the globe and pick a city. I hope it's not Pawnee, Indiana.

I also dont see much room for a Boston date --there are 4 days between Phillly & Montreal-- the rest of the dates on the east coast only have about 2 days in between. :( What are the chances Boston gets added AFTER NJ???

They could play Boston after NJ and make it seem like the "people" demanded it. Either way both cities make a great ending for a 2nd leg of the U.S. Much better than Scranton, PA.

So, do you all think I'll be fine for buying more than 1 GA ticket without pre-sale whenever they do hit public sale? I should be fine... I hope... :reject:

Also, one more time...

PLEASE ANNOUNCE ANOTHER DATE FOR THE PHILLY AREA!! :hyper:

but they could play McGill given different price tiering. ie half of seats at $97, half at $250, and all GA at $57, turn it into a $6M night no problem

Nice to see Alberta gets a gig (with plenty of room for a second). And I love that East Lansing's only other U2 show ever was back on the October Tour. No other surprises at this stage, but it'll be interesting to see what fills some of those gaps.

e.g. Might the rumoured Green Bay gig slot in between Edmonton and East Lansing? Alternatively, what about St Louis and Minneapolis? They have had strong rumours.

Besides Edmonton, I think reasonable possibilities for extra shows are Anaheim, Oakland, Philadelphia, and NYC. Although Miami has been suggested as getting two shows, I'm not totally confident on that count, though there is room for it.

+1,000,000

After the other rumors about them coming back Foxboro, Im quite honestly devestated. This was really the only show I could possibly go to. I wish I knew people in other locations so I could travel with someone but I really dont know a lot of U2 fans personally.
