At Soldier Field with U2girl1978 and her friend, waiting for Mia and Shannon. Listening to soundcheck and getting super hyped. My trip has been an absolute disaster so far, but who cares :hyper:

holy shit, that would be hilarious.

hey, um. is it dangerous to drink too much dimetapp? i did it when i was 12, and this thread is for stupid questions that any idiot could google the answer to.

ur :drunk: on dimetapp? :lmao: u probably have a better tolerance level now then when u were a kid..but hey i aint no doctor..

Would I be a bad person if I said I think it would be hilarious if a lottery were announced tomorrow?

And for what it's worth, last tour we (several women) stayed in and walked around the loop area very late at night, and felt quite safe.

bbison reports:

"It's bizarre - we drove by Soldier Field, there are hundreds of people hanging around - couldn't hear the soundcheck at all. Over a mile away, it's clear as can be."

So who all is sleeping on the pavement?

I want too! Just because these darn people want to create a wristband instead of following the rules that are already in place for the venue. My teenage daughter and I are in the queue, wife and youngest daughter (9) are in section 133.

Just got back from hard rock....saw people with wristbands.

Great system

so freaking happy that i have Red Zones for tomorrow's show-- and i really hope this 2-days-in-advance GA line does not continue past the first show... :crack:

I know..... i have a feeling for sunday's show there will be an even longer line already of people by the morning.... :/ I'm planning on getting there like around 5am with some time to get over... But if they arn't following the rules then idk...

What are we supposed to do in a line for 12 hours??

I don't know whether to go to bed or try to hang out somewhere nearby the stadium.

i am neutral about the fan enforced wristband setup, but i'd like to see a 6 foot tough guy get in line at 6am tomorrow only to be told by some fan that he has to move back because he doesn't have a wristband made of laminated notebook paper.

seriously, i would actually like to see that

yea the same usual people that are always up front. I would pay for a lottery tomorrow.

My wife wants to draw a 1 on her hand. What makes that any less official if wristband holders aren't even in line?
