By the end of this leg...

Can I answer this pre - 360?

Lovetown - Melbourne (2)
Zoomerang - Melbourne (2), Brisbane, Sydney (No Adam!)
Popmart - Brisbane, Sydney
Vertigo - Sydney (3), Melbourne (2)

13 thus far - which is kind of alot when you realise how few stops they do in Australia. Hmm.

Assuming 360 will probably do two nights in Syd and hopefully one in Perth I am aiming for 16 (maybe 18 if Melbourne is viable and the do two nights there) by the end of 2010.

If they play Hong Kong - I am there as well. 360 in a real 'City Of Blinding Lights' awesome!

9 in 22 years of fandom.

6/3/01 Hartford, CT
10/25/01 NYC
10/28/01 East Rutherford, NJ
5/17/05 East Rutherford, NJ
10/14/05 NYC

12/7/05 Hartford, CT (GA)
9/20/09 Foxboro, MA (GA)
9/23/09 East Rutherford, NJ (GA)

Twice- tomorrow, and May 7, 05. If they come back to the US, be it St. Louis, Madison, somewhere fairly close, I'll go again.

It'll be 21 shows for me covering 22 years and 6 tours:

1987: 3 Joshua Trees (Worcester MA, NYC, and Lexington KY)
1992: 1 ZooTV (Tinley Park, IL - the relocated Champlain show)
1997: 2 PopMart (Foxboro MA)
2001: 6 Elevation (4 Boston, 2 Providence RI)
2005: 7 Vertigo (all Bostons)
2009: 2 360 (Foxboro MA)

Funny how that seems like a ridiculous amount to my family and friends - but there are other Interferencers who saw them that many times on a single tour!

And yes, I know how lucky I am to live in New England, where they played 13 shows over the previous two tours....

Tomorrow night will be my 10th U2 show

After Houston and Vegas, 12 times.

Anyone seen them before JT?

Quick question for those who have skipped tours. Such as going from ZooTV straight to Elevation. Any reason for this? Work? Life? Family? PopMart dislikes?

Only 5!

JT-Brendan Byrne Arena
Zoo TV Outside Broadcast-Yankee Stadium
Vertigo-MSG
"Secret" Show in Somerville
360-Gillette

Not nearly enough!!! In the early days had all the time in world, but no money! Now I can afford it, but because of kids, work, etc. no time!

I was in college and not able to go to PopMart at the time. In fact, I believe when it was here in Atlanta it was during the Thanksgiving holidays and I could not go mainly because of the holiday. I was not happy!

Wow XBL_AchtungBaby... Why only the one 2nd leg 360 show? No 9-23?

SMB

To be perfectly honest with you, as I've gotten older I've kind of gotten tired of U2. Hearing some of the same songs over and over and over and over and over again, kind of loses it specialness... Plus I've got kids, a family, am training for a marathon in October, so that all takes priority over U2. I saw them 3 times in Dublin, and if they're not going to pull out anything special for Dublin 3, they ain't going to do it in the U.S. Once is enough for me... I had tickets to the 25th/23rd, but don't want to be hassled traveling all the way to Giants Stadium on consecutive nights.. My only regret in not going to the 9-23 show is missing Muse twice, not U2 actually..

Plus I think I like Kings Of Leon better than U2 now anyway...

A total of 9:

Vertigo Tour - 6
360 - 3 (Phoenix, Las Vegas & the Rose Bowl)

We have been fans since the 80s but for a variety of reasons (kids, work, not being aware of ticket sales, other conflicts, etc.) never could seem to make the U2 concerts. Making up for lost time now...

Hope to catch a couple more shows on the 2010 leg.
