So, I have to admit, I pulled my Pop CD out and listened to it after I heard the 30 second clips tonight......I enjoyed it for the first time in, like, 12 years...

Yeah, heaven forbid somebody has different tastes to you. Believe it or not, music is subjective!

So let me blow your mind. I rank Achtung third-last in my U2 rankings (signifcantly ahead of ATYCLB and HTDAAB though). The Fly, Acrobat, and Love Is Blindness are classics, as is UTEOTW in the live setting, but the rest ranges from alright to disposable junk. One is cliched and tedious; TTTYAATW is a plod through b-side territory, Ultra Violet has the worst chorus in U2 history and beats the horse not only to death but to glue, etc.

The Unforgettable Fire and the Lovetown Tour are where it's at for me.

And hey, you can think my opinion's worth nothing if you want, but that just makes you a narrow-minded Achtung fundamentalist kind of fan and I don't give a shit whether people like you take me seriously.
