My dad says that a lot too. Tasmania's probably got the best ones, since they had some glaciation down there. I know Kosciuzco (or however the fuck you spell that!) is further above sea level, but the whole range doesn't look very impressive.

I can't say I've actually seen either, but looking at pictures, Tassie certainly looks far more impressive. The inadequacy and disappointment of mountains here is certainly one thing I've always been conscious of since moving here.

Hrm... I'm going to see if I can tweak the scanner's settings (although it looks like a pretty cheap piece of crap, combined with a printer/photocopier)... lowering the brightness helped a bit, but the colours pretty much disappeared (they weren't meant to be that strong anyway, but I guess this scanner doesn't do "subtle").

Good luck with tweaking the settings.

My mouse (well, the cursor at least) tends to go wandering across my screen when I'm not even touching it. Both my work and my home mouse do this.



Maybe someone should have told the manufacturers to use DEAD mice.

My PC used to do that too. Minus the print screen part. It would just be at random.
