Finals: U2 Singles Survivor - Round Nineteen

is now open. Please vote by clicking in the circle next to the single you like the LEAST on the electronic poll above. Thank you.

Please be aware that you are voting on the WHOLE single release, not the individual a-side. In the same way that album survivor involved whole albums with their full complement of tracks competing against each other, singles survivor will involve whole singles with their full complement of tracks competing against each other.

This is a TWO day timed electronic poll.

Instructions:

Voting

Each round please vote off the single you like the least. The single with the most amount of votes is the the least popular for this round. Voting is anonymous. It's not compulsory to state your preference in the thread.

Next round all the singles are listed again, minus the single that receives the most amount of votes this round. And again please vote for your least favourite single from the selection.

And on we go for many rounds until there's only two singles left. In the last round you vote for your favourite out of the two. The last single standing is the most popular (or the least unpopular depending on how you look at it).

Tie Breaker

In the event of a tie, both or all tied singles will be instantly eliminated from the competition.

Have fun!

If God Will Send His Angels. The Willie Nelson Slow Dancing should have been kicked out many rounds ago.

AIWIY. Cover versions = Bad, even if they are really good. They're not original.

Agreed. I think it will be my next target. I don't see why so many are voting for SATS when Your Blue Room and NASOTR are both wonderful songs.

...one word - Remixes!:barf:

And Your Blue Room is an album track and not even an U2 album track!

BTW, the Willie Nelson version of Slow Dancing is a beautiful country waltz.

By the way ... there are currently zero votes listed for AIWIY. I don't suppose you accidentally voted for The Fly, which currently does have a vote?

I'm sorry, but you people are so stupid.

PRIDE AND THE UNFORGETTABLE FIRE?! GONE?! What on EARTH IS WRONG WITH YOU?! THEY HAD THE MOST WORTHY B-SIDES THERE! Now you're all just voting for a bunch of records laden with filler, Z-grade material, Remixes and bad live cuts...I hope you're happy....!

Thank you!

It's such a country song and it's beautiful and haunting in the way only a country song can be.

SATS has a lot going for it......"Your Blue Room" "North and South of the River" and some really fine remixes....

New Year's Day doesn't really offer much, other than the fun "Treasure". Vote for "NYD", folks.

because i'm bitter pride lost.
and because i don't like singles with a million remixes of the same bloody song.

which is why, if it was on here, i'd vote off the ebttrt single with 10516456454 remixes off first!

New Years Day. Can anyone explain to me why this is still here? a bunch of live songs and one okay at best b-side.

Thankfully interferencers had the good sense to eliminate the worst U2 era the last few rounds ;).
