Question about the Mirrorball Man

I had been curious about this for awhile now -- I know how the Mirrorball Man was created and all, but I was curious about something in particular. Was the Mirrorball Man created only for some of the tour or what? I know Macphisto came out every night on the European leg -- but what about the Mirrorball Man?

Mirrorball man came out on the first leg of the ZooTV tour in North America (when Mac usually came out on the European leg).

I saw him at the show I went to on that tour. He was kissin the mirror and all throwin' dollar bills in a Southern accent.

He's a gas, that Bono!
