LIVE 105's Reaction's to Vertigo

So three o clock rolls around and I'm listening to Live 105. The DJ comes on and he's talking to someone off mic and he says, "You're telling me I have to wait 20 minutes to play this? No, screw that. We're playing it now." The little 'World Premiere' sound clip comes on, then the DJ comes back and he says, "Well, we have the new U2 single from their new album 'How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb,' due November 22. Thanks to the guys in Croatia who played this so we could get a copy. Here it is!'

Vertigo plays. Awesome, as usual.

DJ comes back on. "So, what'd you guys think?"

::everyone in studio applauds and screams::

"Should we play this again? Yeah, we're definitely playing this again. And for anyone who's at work or whatnot, we're playing it again in 30 minutes. Here it is, Vertigo!"

And they played it again! Life is good. This song looks like it's going to take over the airwaves, if the audience reaction is as good as the dj one!

I just played Vertigo for 40 people at a party and people were like..Is that Bono..Is that U2? And when Edge ripps into his guitar solo they are like..OH SHIT!! How did he do that? People started requesting the DJ to play it again!

SO my rating is beyond the 10 for perfect. I didn't feel this much hype for Beautiful Day.

Live 105 was playing promotional announcements this morning plugging the 'premiere' of Vertigo FRIDAY at 11:55am (heard it during Howard Stern's show). Guess they decided to jump the gun too!
