Bono on the Elvis special

Well, that was pretty cool.

Bono showed up several times during the show, talking up the King. They showed a clip of Bono singing "Can't Help Falling In Love" during ZooTV. Plus, Bono recited 'Elvis Ate America'!

The live performances were all pretty good too.
 
Yeah, I just posted about this on PLEBA! He sure was cute. I liked how he described how Elvis influenced Fly and MacPhisto and they showed footage! He was cute talking too!
 
I only watched because I knew Bono was going to be on it, but the whole special was really good. Even Brittney Spears wasn't too annoying for once (Thank God she wasn't performing). But of course to me the B-Man was the highlight. I didn't think he'd be shown performing anything, so the "Can't Help Falling In Love" clip was a wonderful surprise - so was his reciting "Elvis Ate America" at the end. And only Bono would say Elvis is like a Shakespearean character and compare him to King Lear! :bow: :bono:
